Raw Lachua cocoa beans

Lake Lachuá in central Guatemala in the Alta Verapaz region is the home to a group of farms.

The beans grown are predominately the Trinitario variety and their ultra-premium beans have been used by chocolatiers to win a total of 29 awards.

The average price per tonne for organic beans is 91% higher than that paid in the Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Flavour profiles are lemon curd, red fruits and mocha.
